Nevertheless, we keep seeing numbers published that don't take them into account. The result can be a very costly error. It was once possible to consider different states as homogenous locations for practice. That is over. The current trend to recognize that demographic and psychographic differences are very different within the same states. We look at Virginia and Colorado as case studies.
